This is a brand new custom designed, energy efficient chalet. Watch the wildlife outside from the large windows. This cabin is extremely peaceful, warm and well stocked.
Basecamp was a creative solution to a tragic event. In March of 2020 the old chalet was destroyed by fire. After owning the previous cabin for 20 years the owners felt a great loss, however, they wanted to honour the original cabin and at the same time creating a more energy efficient space. Everest committed to designing and building the new cabin from the ashes. A lot of love and dedication went into the new build. Come experience the mountain magic at Basecamp.
